Message	The risk is far too great for a street driven car. I've had rocks and stuff stuck in the plastic nooks and crannys that would have EASILY destroyed my motor had I not had the covers. A few people run without them on track/trailered cars (Arnel, a few others) but that's about the extent of it. It's worth the money to get a clear set to not have to pull that motor again.
